It’s our 50th ever Seven Live … going now since May 2012!

MURSTON BAPCHILD and the BRAXTON HICKS are Bob Delbridge, Seonaid Matheson, Mike Tavener and Pete Earle.
Entertaining, authentic and downright talented. This band are a well oiled music making machine. Taking a big chunk of Hank Williams as inspiration, they play original material as well as tried and tested old-timey country music from the 40s and 50s. With sizzling fiddle, death defying dobro, devilish double bass, gorgeous guitar, and virtuoso vocals harmonies, they are a force to be reckoned with. Have a yodelling good time at their remembrance of old time country radio shows.

This Barnsley lad has become a mini-legend around Yorkshire, with his wise-cracking hip-hop folk fusion style. It’s not just his humour that will win you over though, his original songs with his multi-intrumentalist backing are a joy to behold … on guitar, harmonica and more with vigor and nuance. A unique creative musical force beyond compare.

FITZWALLACE
Leeds’ finest country pop band. Recent nominees in the British Country Music Awards, this powerful four-piece band bring country music kicking and screaming into the 21st Century, with solid locked-in grooves, tight vocal harmonies and a youthful passion and energy … a truly fantastic musical unit with a glittering future ahead of them.

THE BRONZE
York’s own acoustic folk-tinged guitar and vocals duo have been crafting sweet and subtly affecting songs for many-a-year. Their layered sound and sophisticated lyrics make for a gently engrossing experience, in which Holly Taymar’s original songs unfold with charm and an engaging honesty. Backed by Chris Bilton, adding guitar flourishes and the most delicate of backing vocals, Holly’s music and songs are a breath of fresh air.
